Entrepreneurial orientation (EO) is widely researched topic in manufacturing organisations. Majority of the researchers consider innovativeness, proactiveness and risk-taking as three significant dimensions of EO. I am interested to know what you guys think about these three dimensions in context to hospitals. Are all equally important?

Thanks Deborah for your input. You are right that strong leadership is important. We are giving due cognizance to it. We have explored and found that innovation and proactive approach are important for the leader to be successful in hospitals. Even in the article " a step by step guide...." John Leifer talks about innovation ( disruptive) which we have also considered. However in the business literature, researchers have established risk-taking along with innovation and proactiveness as three significant characteristics.
I am interested in knowing how practitioners and academicians consider the role of risk-taking in hospitals. Thanks.
