If so can a landscape disturbance that affects fractal dimensions affect resilience. At what point or fractal value will the ecosystem collapse.

Excellent, it is one of the questions I was waiting for, but somewhat from a different perspective (I was interested in a more accurate method of evaluating fragmentation in a given space).

I have not found any direct reference to this aspect so far, but your question seems to make sense and is completely justified. Certainly, certain disturbances can change the shape and implicitly the fractal dimensions. Probably a system with a high resilience registers fewer changes after encountering a disturbance, which could be tested for different intensities of the disturbance or by evaluating the exposure of different systems to a disturbance of approximately the same magnitude.

Somewhat on the same idea appeared recently, in 2020, a paper that assesses the resilience of the coastal zone by analyzing the fractal size. I think it is worth studying it in more depth.
