What are the good research Areas/topics in Structural Engineering for Ph.D.?
Can anyone suggest to me research topics related to Fatigue and fracture mechanics of Concrete ?
Kindly suggest me a good review article regarding the studies performed in Structural engineering related to Fatigue life analysis of fiber reinforced concrete/ Flexural fatigue performance of concrete made with recycled materials?
Kindly suggest me research topics related Flexural-Fatigue Properties of Sustainable Concrete Pavement Material ?
I think that there is a lot of scope for this topic in future. This will definitely be a great topic in research to rejuvenate the old buildings for which design life is completed and for buildings of historical importance.
Topics related with the implication of fiber optics in concrete stability reinforcement has high scopes in future. Furthermore, you can try out topics related to finite elements as well.
hello , i think building safety against fire , or decreasing risks due to fire by using special type of concrete , this can be achieved by using waste ceramic as fine and coarse aggregate , then studying reinforced concrete samples exposed to high temperatures such as 400 ,600,800 ,1000 centigrade and comparing ordinary concrete with concrete containing ceramic aggregates , and you can also study HSC and other types with and without ceramics.... with best wishes
