I suspect many of you are using Chemdoodle 2D as an alternative to ChemDraw. The program from iChemLabs is very functional and I personally liked it, but it lacks a few functions. One of the functions that I miss the most is a table with automatically supplemented stoichiometry of reactions, similar to what can be seen in competing programs.

What is good about iChemLab is that as users who have purchased a license, you can send an email requesting the features to be added. On the publisher's website you can read:

"1. All feature requests (from customers and non-customers) are considered and are reported to our development tracking system.

2. Feature requests are associated with a score based on the popularity of the request. Each feature begins with a score of 0. The score is then incremented by 1 for each unique customer that requests that feature (including the initial request if done by a customer). Non-customers that request features do not affect feature scores.

3. Once a month, we reevaluate the scores and plan our development around the features with the highest scores."

Therefore, if like me, you are interested in adding this function to Chemdoodle, because it would also be useful to you, please send a request to add it to the developer using this form:
