My lab is currently searching for a robust microcentrifuge for quick spin downs of samples in microcentrifuge tubes. It would additionally be advantageous if the microcentrifuge has a replaceable rotor to be able to fit PCR tubes as well.

What are some of the most reliable/robust models that you have used? We are hoping to avoid anything that quickly breaks.

At the moment I've come across the Corning Mini Microcentrifuge and the Thermo mySPIN 6 mini centrifuge, so any reviews of these would be appreciated as well.
