Hi,
I have used the pyDEA python software for my DEA analysis to measure efficiency of banks. i opted all approach. But iam getting same result for CRS input oriented and CRS output oriented. how to validate it? In the second stage i tried to run tobit analysis with dependent variable is ineffciency score ((1- tech effciency)/teh efficnecy).But my valuse are going upto 15. If cesnored between 0 and 1 many observations are getting cut off. How to approach the second stage?Pl anyone suggest

By definition DEA-CRS gives the same results for input- and output-orientation. It is a well known result.
About the second part of the question: if your dependent variable is ((1- tech efficiency)/tech efficiency) there is no need to run a tobit. But, second-stage analysis (especially with tobit!) has bigger problems (Simar and Wilson, jae 2007; Daraio and Simar, jpa, 2007, or, on a different tack, Johnson and Kuosmanen, ejor, 2012). Consider with a lot of care the need to adopt it.

I honestly do not know. There are such packages (or, better, libraries) in R. It is a good idea to be able to use at least a couple of languages (or environments).
