I have modeled the concrete as solid and reinforcement as truss element and I used embedded option to specify interaction between the reinforcement and concrete slab. I am sure that i have created section properties and assigned to the solid and truss (area) in parts separately and i have created instances in assembly module, but analysis was aborted with an error that 2744 elements have missing property definitions. The elements have been identified in element set ErrElemMissingSection
Error was :
***ERROR: ELEMENT 50 INSTANCE REINFORCEMENT-1 IS MISSING A BEAM SECTION
DEFINITION; CHECK ELEMENT SET AND ELEMENT DEFINITIONS
***WARNING: ONLY A BEAM SECTION PROPERTY OPTION MAY BE USED WITH ELEMENT 51 INSTANCE REINFORCEMENT-1. CHECK THAT NO OTHER PROPERTY REFERS TO THIS ELEMENT.
In data file the elements indicated as beam element B31 in place of truss element T3D2
Dear Palak Shukla it seems that " may be you have checked some inputs or properties regarding bending'" and program automatically assign beam element B31 instead of truss element T3D2 . please check the properties clearly and then check again.
