Countries that have developed successfully have shifted resources from agriculture to manufacturing. The Green Revolution benefited most regions of the world, Worldwide, agriculture is the main source of income among the rural poor. Relative to other sectors, agricultural growth can reduce rural poverty rates faster and more effectively. Farmers’ decisions to invest and to produce are closely influenced by access to financial instruments. Low population density and large geographical dispersion of clients in rural areas make it difficult for banks to operate at a profitable scale. The lack of financial institutions branches has translated in a limited provision of saving, insurance and credit products to farmers and agribusinesses.

4. Improve market access, regulations, and governance

Nice thinking indeed. India and Bangladesh is so far have similar soil and weather condition. I think mechanization can be a great way for making agriculture sector very efficient. It’s almost inevitable for the any country.

As an example row spacing and gap between two crops have standards, most of the farmers are not following it. Some thing like this.

It is very possible and is linked to the importance of the agricultural sector from the point of view of the government as well as the availability of funds for the introduction of these machines and the willingness of farmers to use them in their fields.

Mechanization is very important for agriculture. In developing and high population density, the design and development should be locally manufactured to fit the local conditions such as farming and ownership size, machine size and price.

The introduction of precision agriculture equipment is a feasible measure that has different technological ranges. To minimize the fixed cost of the equipment, it can be managed through producer organizations for the distribution of the investment cost.

The implementation of precision agriculture maximizes the use of resources through agroecosystem monitoring, resulting in physical efficiency. However, economic efficiency will depend on the cost-benefit ratio of production technology.

Nowadays lots of high tech equipment can be used in agricultural applications and for all stages of it from planting to harvest and also for post harvesting and marketing; but using them requires funds, education etc and it is different for each country. Mechanization is always a beneficial method for improving the quality of development but it depends on our level of technology, the acceptability rate of that, and cost-benefit ratio of that in the country.
