I find open government (i.e. open innovation) extremely important and trendy.

Something in the field of Public Value Creation or Digitale Change.

My personal top topic is the difference between civil law vs. common law states and the consequence for civil law states with all the Management Publications made on the base of common law states. But this is not really a topic in the Research community.

Good Governance

I find the Public Value Theory, as suggested by Joseph Pennino as critical even today. Especially given the chaos created by the global COVID-19 pandemic.

I focused on Pragmatic Approach of Public Management: studying the requirement of diverse approach of practice in terms of "the scarcity of resources" in different geographical areas. this opens the matter discussing from macro to micro level.

it can argue that the internal efficiency (organizational behaviours) is just a part of an effective process, but, correct discernment on "resources available" play a vital role.

I have found Public Value Theory and Public Value Governance (practice) to be a very exciting field.
