It is not too late for you to go, we might talk about a possible trip to OZ, would you enjoy going over a map. I think both Australia and New Zealand, especially south island, are remarkable for the people and the diverse, beautiful and open land. Yes it is Anglophone England derivative not exotic, however that experience itself is exotic.
I will be working much of the time over there in Feb but will be in electronic contact. What I meant by raising my travel is that this is not a great way to discuss your ideas, these short notes while traveling. We might switch to email or .... And, if you - and Denis? - are up for it I would come to you to meet and talk, to see if there is anything I can contribute. Either way it would be a great pleasure to me. These are the most important topics and discussion with you widens my consciousness in just the way we said in our chapter. I also have opinions on how neuroscience has gone off track based on a few fundamental early concepts that shaped how it is imagined the brain works. Not to critique the large body of empirical investigation, rather the interpretation and context it is set in.
If/when we may meet I hope we may talk about your novel, which sticks with me.
