I have some 1-TIPS-pyrrole I made a few months ago (before lockdown) which was a lovely colourless liquid when I left it but now has some black streaks in, presumably from some pyrrole polymerisation (Also partially solid in the fridge - wet? Will store at rt from now on). Does anyone have experience re-purifying this? My first thought would be to repeat part of the workup procedure: dissolve in hexane, filter through silica or celite and concentrate, and hope that it comes out clear.

If there is any easy way that you know of, or can confirm that my idea is the best first thing to try, please let me know. Many thanks.
