Question for intelligent persons
A person agreed with a worker to dig a well in his house at a depth of 5 meters in the amount of $500 , and the worker completed the first meter digging and then refused to continue the work, the worker asked the owner of the house to pay him the fee of digging the first meter. How much do you think?
- اتفق شخص مع عامل على حفر بئر في بيته بعمق 5 امتار ، وقد قام العامل بحفر المتر الأول ثم رفض الاستمرار بالعمل ، طلب العامل من صاحب البيت ان يدفع له أجرة حفر المتر الأول ، فكم هو باعتقادك أجرة حفر المتر الأول اذا علمت ان العامل يستحق أجرته شرعا وقانونا؟

As It see it, the worker broke the promise. As such, the worker has not rigth to ask
the owner of the house to pay him the fee of digging the first meter. So, the focal person owes nothing to the worker. Of course, the owner of the house could pay the worker even the amount of $500, but he has no moral and/or legal obligation to do this. If the owner of the house did that, then he was going beyond the call of duty and would be, say, a prosocial man.

We use the decreasing installment method by dividing 1 by 5 and then multiply by $ 500 and so on to reach the real number of the first meter
Not only would I refuse to pay the guy anything but if he caused me unnecessary delays that had financial consequences and other hardships I would inquire about the feasibility of suing him for breach of contract and damages.
