Please guide me about PURE ACRYLATES
What are they? and what are their applications?
Pure acrylate means: only one kind of acrylate monomer is polymerized? means Homopolymer?
Why they are important in coatings and adhesives?

Hello dear Shahla, when you talk about pure acrylates, it is referred to material prepared only from acrylic monomers (any material derived from acrylic acid, methacrylic acid. The monomers more distingue of this type are the acrylates (esters). These material are mainly employed in coating and adhesives due to good properties of adherence, flexibility, drying time, low gloss, etc some monomers of this type are: butyl acrylate, 2-ethyl hexyl acrylate, isobutyl acrylate, methyl methacrylate, acrylic acid, hydroxy ethyl acrylate, etc.
This material can be obtained by so many methods of the polymerization (solution, suspension, miniemulsion, emulsion) by reaction of living polymerization, free radicals, anionic and cationic polymeryzation, etc
Due to the side group of the acrylic ester the diversity of this class is very large. (keyword: solvent free) This attached ESR study contains a small number of acrylic esters (classes, polyester, urethan, Epoyacrylate,...) demonstration their diversity even in curing behaviour.
