I want to know whether paper publishing is done only for new ideas/experiments or if new products developed which use existing technologies can also be published? I have recently developed a software for a specific purpose. There is no existing software like this on the market (or available open-source). I want to publish it so that my efforts do not go to waste. What should I do? Can anyone suggest the right way of making this product known?

Publishing can be done only for both new ideas/experiments or new products developed which use the existing because this is also a new idea but you have ti cite every used technologies properly.
