Hi, I'm interested in the accuracy of methods that non-experts can use to look at various aspects of soils, including soil texture. I've found plenty on the ball-ribbon test, but haven't found papers on the jar test, for soil texture. I'd be grateful if anyone can point me in the way of references that assess the reliability / accuracy of this method. Thanks!
