Does anyone knows a postprocessing solution to unmask lactate peaks (methyl doublet) in proton magnetic resonance spectra (1H-MRS) from organes, in which the lactate peaks are overlapped by the large overlapping lipid resonance(s)? In spectra from the brain lactate peaks could be easily detected, but in spectra from liver, some kind of tumors, muscle etc. the lactate resonances are not detectable, if you are not using sequences, which are supressing the fat resonances. Is there a software-based solution for a postprocessing lactate doublet quantification and lipid signal suppression?

Thanks in advance
