Protocol for testing insulin fibrillation?

I was wondering if anyone had a protocol for testing insulin fibrillation? I was thinking just incubating a small amount, with gentle shaking, and then taking aliquots every 2 hours. However, do I need to add anything to this insulin or will I be able to measure absorbance.

Hi Chafica, the "gold standard" for amyloid formation of any protein is thioflavin-T binding measured by fluorescence.
