In the frame of a R&D project I’m looking for synthetic mica that can be used as nanofiller for melt-mixing with engineering polymers (PET, PC, PA, etc.) to produce nanocomposites.
I have some old information, i.e. Somasif as trademark (CO OP Japan producer), but I can’t to verify that these products are actually commercialized. Thank you in advance for any information and your help,

Thank you a lot for all information. I will try to find that they can offer (sub)micronic mica by considering that the goal is the production of polymer nanocomposites. On the other hand, like in the case of layered silicates such as Montmorillonite, the previous modification of the synthetic mica will play a key-role…
