I'm currently beginning a research on newborn apnea automatic detection. Can anyone point me in the right direction to search for publications having to do with detectors, state of the art, physiological details, recent works, etc.

A very commonly used device in the UK is the GRASEBY MEDICAL MR10 RESPIRATION MONITOR. It is commonly used within neonatal units for 'at risk' infants i.e. under 34 weeks, airway abnormalities, under treatment for neonatal abstinence syndrome, SIDS risk etc and for use in the domicilary setting for infants on home oxygen. Much of the literature in this feild is dated so new studies would be welcomed.

Can you be more specific as to what you are looking for? Most "detection" is poor, fraught with false positives. There is great variability in clinical management as well.
