Dear all,

since now during my Ph.D., which is arriving at an end, I developed subroutine for different tasks mainly creep-fatigue interaction calculation. Recently I focused more on precise material damage models for fatigue and creep. So I post processed my results using the Fortran code within my numerical procedure. This of course worked, but is highly inefficient, especially when you are more interested only in the post-processing than the numerical calculation of the stress-strain response.

So I would like to ask you all which is the best strategy to perform post processing, generating plots and of course contour. This last part in some case is useless ,since the assessment of a component may be concentrated on a couple of integration points. However, in some cases, I noticed that the stress-strain response and the multiaxial state of the stress can change the final critical location.

Normally I use UMAT and I work with many SDVs, my idea was to develop in the next future a python code to post-process the results. However, I did not find any good examples, apart some present in Abaqus manual, which are ok only if you work with standard variable S, EE, CE etc etc...

Thanks for your time, and for any suggestion!
