Hello,

I would like to pole some BaTiO3 (001) samples (0.5 mm thick, single-crystals). However, the surface needs to be clean for subsequent treatments and possible ARPES measurements. Thus, I am looking for a way to pole my samples without damaging their surface. Using silver paste as a electrode is too dirty/difficult to properly clean. Using copper foils was unsuccessful so far (bad contacts ?). Using silicon oil is not recommanded (too dirty, difficult to clean ?). Using conductive thin films is not possible because they can't stand the high voltage we will need to apply to pole the samples.

Am I wrong somewhere? Please what method would you use ? thank you very much
