The Cryotop method is stated to be a highly efficient vitrification ( flash-freezing process) method for cryopreservation of human oocytes and embryos. Vitrification is much faster but requires higher concentrations of cryoprotectants to be added. The result of vitrification is a solid glass-like cell, free of ice crystals. There are also other methods, the eggs can be frozen using either a controlled-rate or slow-cooling method.
but my real problem in my project, it's that i can't decide until now what's stage of oocyte which i must to choose it for my experience in cryopreservetion ( VG stage or other) and i know that a vitrification as technique is better than normal slow freezing but there are many factors that i must to control them to have a better results as concentration of cryprotectant ( DMSO) and glycerol and the speed of freezing and thawing suitable and temperature...
but my real problem is how can i evaluat the quality of my futur results during freezing and after thawing even after FIV with ICSI and until to have embryos???
and must i to do FISH as technique to see if my oocytes are normals before cryopreservation???
