I suggest using a lot of software tools that are available on-line. The choice depends on your discipline. For instance, I focus on linguistic stylometry, which is quite easy to be popularised, as students like to create collocation networks, determine the keywords of their essays, etc.
I am working freshment student in education .. and using the Design Oriented Thinking approach/Model , them have selected a real problem that requıres them to generate solutions, create prototype/ models etçi.. most importantly to use various means of Research to garher info.. ınderstand the problem/ perspectives and present the solution. 5-8 stage process. Definitely, meaningful, creates opportunities for team work, and higher level thinking 🤔 I can’t wait to see what they will come up with..
