Recently I discovered for myself next interesting articles:

- Spectrophotometric determination of platinum in glass after extraction with polyurethane foam (DOI:10.1016/0039-9140(92)80157-9);

- The determination of trace amounts of platinum in glass by colorimetry, spark-source mass spectrography and X-ray fluorescence spectrometry (DOI:10.1039/an9719600177)

It was little scientific area about Platinum in glass reserching. That's why I cannot find more literature about this topic.

So It's interesting how we can add Platinum to glass structure? Or did this research mean the presence of platinum in the surface layer of glass?

And if it is possible (sorry, but I can't imagine which may it possible), can anyone recommend literature about optical properties of glass with Platinum contain?
