I m using the catalyst and plastic waste and heating it in furnance at high temperature, It is called catalytic degradation of plastic , im confused it with plastic waste composites. Please clarify the doubt that what are plastic waste composites then. or is it the same.
Also my second question is that the liquid product which is formed when plastic undergoes catalytic degradation, it needs to be purified? by fractional distillation or filtration if i am synthesizing biodiesel from it.

2) Yes, if you are doing catalytic pyrolysis, you will get a mixture of different hydrocarbons that you will need to fractionate. Very basically, the pyrolysis produces roughly about 30% gas, 30% petrol 30% diesel, and 10% tar. The catalyst can alter these proportions (for example, to get some more petrol and less gasoil) but it will not completely eleminate any of the fractions.
it can be filtered but very hard or I recommend it to be burned in a non euro diesel engine to which is attached an electric generator with flue gas bubbling in substances that retain them and so you have no environmental problems or tar or deposits on engine parts. ...
