Is anyone working on core-shell piezoelectric composite? what are their application?
Here in Darmstadt there is people working on these topics. Depends greatly to which type of application you focus, they can be utilize for any application. Mostly in small signal resonant ones to increase the temperature stability of the response due to much more stable dielectric properties. In large signal non resonant appications they can be use, at least till now is believed so, to trigger easily the high strain of certain materials. But you questions seems very wide to me. Summarizing it is an alternative way of furhter engineering these materials.
