Hi,

In the context of my PhD, I would like to review scientific knowledge about P cycle in agroecosystems, as affected by organic residues input, in the long term.

May I ask for the help of expert, experienced scientists ? so as to concentrate myself on relevant knowledge and publications, then write an efficient first review ?

A raw outline may include (all in the context of agroecosystems)

  • origin of soil P
  • P stocks and fluxes
  • Management of soil P
  • Methods for caracterization of soil P stocks and fluxes
  • Organic residues types, origins and uses
  • Methods for characterizing organic residues, and assessing long-term inpact of organic residues on P cycling.

However I am not sure I'd like to read such a review myself...  To put it simple, how to make it brilliant, reliable & useful, in order to have other scientists to use it as a reference for future researches in this discipline at least ? What are the necessary, and sufficient, conditions for writing such a review ? My ultimate goal here, is to write a review that will not fall into the oblivions of Science. I am thus actively seeking for comments about this outline, and further discussions.

Thanks in advance for your attention and comments.
