• What are the determining factors of social, economic and political transformations, which determine Peace or Conflicts, in the era of Globalization
Society as an integral entity is characterized by a complex system of relations: economic, social, political, moral, kindred, spiritual, etc. These relations are based on the needs and interests of people. If there are obstacles on the way to the realization of these needs and interests, goals and expectations, this leads to an aggravation of contradictions between people, their social groups, gives rise to tension, crisis situations fraught with open confrontation, conscious confrontation, conflicts.
The ever-increasing interest in conflict and conflictology has two reasons. First, the growth of conflicts in all spheres of social interaction is already a sign of our time. Lack of understanding between people, violence, aggression, rampant terrorism, fear of the future, i.e. constant the complication of the problem of conflict in real life, make this discipline important and relevant. Secondly, today we find ourselves at a completely new point in evolutionary development, when humanity consciously takes responsibility for its further existence.
It is quite obvious that the conflict is not only a fact of our life, but also a factor that can make significant adjustments to it. The conflict that led to the "war" can destroy, affect the fate of the people involved in it, but the same conflict, constructively resolved, will open up new opportunities for the development of cooperation. To improve the quality of our lives, we must first recognize the existence of conflicts, appreciate their importance in crisis periods and engage in their prevention by acquiring conflict literacy.
Much of the problem of conflict is developed in macro level in the context of large-scale theoretical constructions related to the tasks of explaining socio-cultural changes in modern society. At the same time, the issue of conflict is of a purely applied nature. It is in wide demand in very specific situations in which there is a clash of interests of two or more parties. As a matter of fact, in
the practice of organizing modern social work, management, diplomacy, jurisprudence, commercial activities and other areas of life where there is a direct clash of interests of opposing parties, "conflictology" occupies a special place.
Only Peace is needed for humanity! War has lost people, destruction of wealth. Banal motives!
The overall reduction of social inequalities and a fair justice system can contribute to global peace.
Weapon factory interest is the main factor involved in war. The creation of these factories was justified by the struggle against nazifascism in the IIWW, but after that they could have been banned, specially nuclear power plants, and then the planet would have given peace a chance.
Factors influencing Globalization are as follows: (1) Historical (2) Economy (3) Resources and Markets (4) Production Issues (5) Political (6) Industrial Organisation (7) Technologies. Globalisation though is basically an economic activity, is influenced by many factors.

Global trade openness promotes peace
More importantly, our study finds that global trade openness also significantly promotes peace. An increase in global trade openness would reduce the probability of military conflict as it leads to an increase in bilateral trade interdependence.Mar 21, 2009

Jose Poças Rascão
Dear Professor,
Thank you for the interesting topic of discussion.
Let me share a personal experience with you.
My father is a MBA from IISWBM, Kolkata, India. He worked for almost 39 years for an American company and retired as a top management official. After that, he started a consultancy firm. He worked with it for almost 10 years.
I stay in Kolkata, India with my parents. Over the years, I saw that when my father was younger, he was happy to reach regional standards in his work. It was the period of 1970s, 80s and 90s. Today, when I am working, I cannot afford to reach regional standards. I have to reach the global standards. I have to do this because this is the age of globalization.
Thus, during the era when my father was working, he had leisure. In this era, when I am working I do not have leisure. Leisure is very important in our lives. Even its absence is very important. My father had time to think and ponder on various matters. I don't have time. And, this is a major difference between my father's life and my life. So, I am unable to think and ponder on matters, which demand thinking and pondering.
Thus, when I enter into a conflict with someone, many a times I do not realize that the other person and me, both are talking from the same viewpoint.
To sum up, what I am trying to say is that lack of leisure is becoming a determining factor in social, economic and political transformations, which determine peace or conflict in the era of globalization.
Best regards,
Anamitra.
What are the differentiating factors in personal and professional terms and in political terms between nations/countries?
Its al about political egocentrism, the conflict is at most of the time!
The future of both peace and civilization depends upon understanding and co-operation among the political, spiritual and intellectual leaders of the world's major civilizations. All conflicts are different with their particular history and reasons. I think that inequality within societies and between regions has become a key cause for conflict, exacerbated by rapid information dissemination, as people are (now) more aware of inequalities. Economic, social and environmental trends come together, for example, looking at resource competition and climate change . State fragility continues to be a key source for internal conflicts, instability and human s In the twenty-first century, clashes of civilizations pose threat to global peace. An international order based on moral values is the safeguard against world conflicts.
What are the factors and behaviors of people and politicians that lead to Peace and Conflict, including War?

The era of globalization has brought with it many conflicts, whether at the local, regional or international level, and it has led in some countries, especially the Arab ones, to empty the political and social systems of their content. Therefore, it cannot be said that the era of globalization is an era of peace or war. This depends on the extent of the benefit and achievement it has achieved. Peoples and countries in this era
So-called international trade has always created wars, pillage, destitution and environmental degregation.

------------
The reality of trade wars and conflicts including the slave colonial trade wars and the resistance to trade by the Chines and Japanese did not, however, prevent the idea of what became known as “gentle commerce” to be taken up by a string of philosophers and writers.
Typical of these was Emanual Kant who believed that “gentle commerce” would create peace among nations.
John Stuart Mill writing two years before Ricardo’s economic justification of trade, pulled out all the stops to praise the internationalist benefits of trade. He wrote in his book of 1848
But the economical advantages of commerce are surpassed in importance by those of its effects which are intellectual and moral…… Commercial adventurers from more advanced countries have generally been the first civilizers of barbarians. …. . It is commerce which is rapidly rendering war obsolete, by strengthening and multiplying the personal interests which are in natural opposition to it. And it may be said without exaggeration that the great extent and rapid increase of international trade, in being the principal guarantee of the peace of the world, is the great permanent security for the uninterrupted progress of the ideas, the institutions, and the character of the human race.
This has been the mantra of the supporters of free trade from the British Imperial Government in 1848 through to the creation of the World Trade Organisation in 1994. When Mill wrote his accolade to trade he was serving in India House and in charge of the relations between the British East India Company and the disparate Indian Rulers. It was a time of enormous and bloody conflicts in Asia in order to protect the East India Company, of financing the tea trade with opium exports to China of widespread child labour in the British export industry. In short, a time of the complete opposite to Mill’s “principal guarantee” of peace in the world. The conclusion must be that he defended the hand that directly or indirectly feed him with resort to quasi-religious postulates that the exchange of goods was a necessity for the peaceful future of humankind.
Despite the weakness of this idea and argument it has prevailed to the current day and is promoted by major trading nations and in particular European and USA multinational corporations as the successors to the state-owned companies. As before it is still popularly suspect and opposed. In 2008 the Director General of the World Trade Organisation (WTO), the international organisation devoted to free trade, admitted that citizens had no confidence in international trade when he said "I would only say that restoring citizens' confidence in trade requires governments to ensure that sound domestic policies are in place”.
In answer to Jose's second question
"Of the 195 distinguishable national units in the world in 2021 about 160 of them, or at least 75 percent of the world population, are in countries divided from each other by the defining majority differences in race, religion, ethnicity, or unique combinations of them."

Without trying to sound overly cynical, and with a nod to all of the amazingly complex literature that has established over the decades many different causal layers, I think ONE major and modern causal factor that currently remains under-investigated is whether or not there is a major power neighbor adjacent to the "transformation" and what that major power feels about the change. For example, the "transformation" either attempted or considered by Ukraine and Taiwan is hugely impacted by the position and opinions of Russia and China, respectively.
Is globalization good or bad?
I'll try to give some examples. Now they began to realize that keeping power in the same hands, to put it mildly, is not far-sighted. And democracy in the Western and American vision in the 21st century has cracked. This is due to the anti-democratic parties that came to power in many states. In light of the new crisis, anti-globalists will receive more preferences than globalists (this is recognized by many analysts in the West, but no one takes their opinion seriously)
The European Union has been discussing the possibility of imposing new sanctions over the past few weeks, which should make it difficult for Russian energy supplies to the West. Discussions are taking place in a very tense atmosphere and to the accompaniment of heated debates, since not all members of the bloc are ready to refuse fuel from the Russian Federation.
The European Union did everything possible to break the Russian economy, but in the end, with these actions, it harmed itself.
The imposition of sanctions against Russia turned out to be an extremely negative effect for Western economies. Restrictions on the Russian Federation - one of the world's largest energy exporters - provoked a sharp increase in the cost of fuel. Oil and gas became so expensive that even the wealthy countries of Western Europe “howled” at these prices. But the EU went even further: the bloc's leadership decided to completely ban the import of Russian oil.
The European Union announced its intention to reduce its dependence on Russian oil by 90%. At first glance, Russia is in a real quandary and faces serious problems. However, something strange happened - the West began to panic, not Moscow.
While the EU countries were arguing vigorously over new sanctions, Russia was watching all this from the sidelines. Some time ago, Russian President Vladimir Putin commented on the situation. He stated that the rejection of Russian energy carriers would become an economic auto-da-fé for Europe.
The prospect of harming their own economy did not please many states, and they slowed down the negotiation of new sanctions. As a result, they never managed to agree on an oil embargo, on the contrary, it came to the point that the EU leadership agreed to revise the terms of the sanctions. Now the ban will affect only the supply of Russian oil by sea, pipelines will continue to operate as before.
Globalization is a reality whether we agree or not.
It will require many social, economic, political and technological changes.
If politicians manage to adapt to reality, respecting the rights and guarantees of citizens defined by the UN, it will be good, otherwise it will generate many conflicts, including war.
The most suffering people are the Kurds "a nation without a state" - severely deceived by everyone - 46 million people without land and hope.
The people who were scattered on the territory of four countries at once - Turkey, Iran, Iraq and Syria - and have a large European diaspora.
Somewhere around 800,000 in Germany (mostly from Syria and Turkey), 100,000 in Sweden (from Iran and Iraq), 90,000 in the UK (from Iraq) and 120,000 - 150,000 in France (mostly from Turkey) .
The vast majority of Kurds (70%) profess Sunni Islam.
But the Russian Empire has always provided assistance to the Kurds, then the USSR, and now Russia.
Everyone deceived the Kurds:
The UK promised and gave up in a tough way 3 times.
The British used them, kindling and using as a crowbar,
The USA as the Middle East trump card 2 times, now the third.
What about the Kurds?
Soon they will come to Russia, we are now the "roof" of the deceived and the victims.
Peace or Conflicts,in the era of Globilization
In the era of Globilization, the likelihood of increasing Conflict Eruptions~Escalations is a reality. The Factors accounting for these Conflicts through Social,Economic,Political Transformations etc.are many and varied.
These Factors amongst others, emanate from increasing world populations and also from the increased opportunity for interactions, direct or indirect, of the people of the world. This increased volume of interaction is made possible by improved mobility and connectivity, bearing a higher risk of rifts~Conflicts. The Challenge of handling these rifts that may arise from the expanded diversity and variety per unit time may be more than simple .The Basic Considerations for Conflict Resolutions and Management are more complex in a Multicultural Context,Traditions and Value Systems that Globilization brings together. Improved Mobility and Connectivity, arguably, favour Drug Trafficking,Drug Use and Armed Robbery with adverse implications for Conflicts.Cyberfraud and scams are causing insecurity and the urge to revenge, High.
Trade and Business Malpractuces when they occur are more likely to be dealt with with more effort;Misinterpretation and Misunderstanding among Partners,Suppliers and Customers are likely to be higher in the diversity of Globalizaton .
Competitions for honour and property on the Global dimension being on a larger scale are more demanding for success and in defending the championship position.
The Relative Scarcity of Resources in respect to demand is likely to be experienced at the Global than the local level.Productivity and Supply are malaffected by increased exploitative human activity.Illegal Mining and De-forestion have the potential of disturbing the equilibrium of the ecosystem.Climate Change,Pollution,Flooding and other Disasters follow. These are fertile situations for Conflicts.
In Ghana,Illegal Mining called Galamsey has led to the pollution of major water bodies like river Pra,river Ankobra and river Tano.Implications on potable water, diminishing population of Fishes and unrewarding fishing as occupation are not far-fetched.Also degradation and destruction of arable land have made farming challenging with low productivity and inability for farmers to make enough sales to pay back the loans contracted for the farming businesses. Reference~Courtesy a news item of Citi97.3 fm by Marian Ansah/ citifmonline.com/Ghana on Galamsey Pollution destroying water bodies in Ghana-Water Company on March 22,2017.
The refreshing Atmosphere offered by nature as a Resort is ebbing with increasing De-forestation to serve global needs.De-stress by enjoying nature is not as it was previously. The increased use of the Artificial Mode for work and play has contributed in separating us for direct social relationships. The opportunity for developing the art and craft of building good social relationships with a humane face by direct interactions is gradually diminishing.Could this not affect how we accommodate one another and prevent Conflict?
The Quest for Power causing some to use unhealthy campaign during elections, rigging of votes, overthrow of Democratic-Elected Governments,Poor Leadership,Dictatorship and Oppressor's Rule are good recipe for Confict Eruptions~Escalations.
It is inferred that Globalization inevitably brings along Conflicts.Conflicts ,if not arrested, reversed and effectively handled may not favour Globilization and eventually undermine its sustenance. The inferred inevitable Conflict associated with Globilization may be effectively handled by the active pursuit and practise of peace. In the next post that follows this one soon, the Factors that could be included as operating through Social,Economic and PoliticalTransformations etc. for Peace will be explored.

We know that what you describe shows the great turmoil and complexity of world society.
I ask in practical terms what are the factors (attitudes and behaviors) that lead to peace or conflicts?
What has never changed over centuries: natural resources and distribution (governance)
c'est une question qui nécessite d'énorme réflexions, il n'y a pas un seul élément mais plusieurs en interaction, j'en citerai quelque uns;
requires worldwide debate and reflection.
We have three cycles in life. We are all born equally. We all die. In this interval we live. Some more, some less years.
Should anyone have the right to end the lives of others?
Isn't human life too short to go into permanent war?
Is it not economic interests (the business of war) that pits men against men?
Why is it that in the USA there are almost every day deaths with firearms?
The up coming technology warfare in the digital world is the next world conflict particularly between the Western and the Eastern Block pattern because of technology decoupling between the two world
Over the past decades, a number of sources of globalization have emerged. One of them is technological progress, which has led to a sharp reduction in transport and communication costs, a significant reduction the costs of processing, storing and using information.
The second source of globalization is trade liberalization and other forms of economic liberalization that have curtailed protectionist policies and made world trade freer. As a result there were tariffs have been substantially reduced, and many other barriers to trade in goods and services have been removed. Other liberalization measures have led to an increase in the movement of capital and other factors of production.
The third source of globalization can be considered a significant expansion of the scope of organizations, which became possible both as a result of technological progress and wider horizons of management on basis of new means of communication. Thus, many companies that previously focused only on local markets have expanded their production and marketing capabilities, reaching the national, multinational, international and even global level.
Globalization brings not only benefits, it is fraught with negative consequences or potential problems, which some of its critics see as a great danger.
One of the main problems is related to the question: who benefits from globalization? In fact, most of the benefits are rich countries or individuals. The unfair distribution of the benefits of globalization gives rise to the threat of conflicts at the regional, national and international levels.
The second problem is related to potential regional or global instability due to the interdependence of national economies at the global level. Local economic fluctuations or crises in one country may have regional or even global implications.
The third set of problems posed by globalization is caused by the fear that control over the economies of individual countries may shift from sovereign governments to other hands, including the most powerful states, multinational or global corporations and international organizations.
Because of this, some see globalization as an attempt to undermine national sovereignty. For this reason, globalization can make national leaders feel helpless before its forces, and the electorate - antipathy towards her. Such sentiments can easily turn into extreme nationalism and xenophobia with calls for protectionism, lead to the growth of extremist political movements, which is potentially fraught with serious conflicts.
The problem generated by globalization - the infringement of national sovereignty and the independence of political leaders - can also be largely resolved on the basis of international cooperation, for example, by a clear delineation of the powers of the parties, i.e. national governments and their leaders, on the one hand, and international organizations and multinational or global corporations, on the other. The very involvement of political leaders in building the necessary institutions to deal with these and other globalization-related issues will help them regain the sense that they are in control of their future and in control of their positions in the world.
Globalized world. In the meantime, unfortunately, the world is moving in the opposite direction, along the path of political and military dictate of a strong
weak, that in the context of globalization of all aspects of the life of the world community, it is fraught with a global confrontation
Dear Sir,
The main factor of peace or conflict in globalization may be religious sentiment as well as respective cultures.
and other factors such as economic, technological, environmental, etc?
Globalization is an objective and natural process of human development. With pluses, there are also minuses. In some cases, long-standing ethnic contradictions and conflicts come to the surface due to the uneven development of regions inhabited by minorities, leading to their economic and social backwardness. In others, the suppression of national and cultural identity and the unification of the global world, which breaks traditional stereotypes, evoke a protective response and stimulate ethnic conflicts, in particular from the Islamic world. Unlike previous periods end of XX-beginning of XXI century. marked by high dynamics of development, an increase in the armed component of ethnic conflicts, which is facilitated by the growing transparency (transparency) of borders inherent in globalization, the free flow of technologies, finance, weapons, and the development of means of communication and communication.
The risk of outbreak of hostilities increases by almost by 60% if the minority once had its own statehood. It does not matter when and where this state entity existed, how it was created, what form of government was used and for what reasons it lost independence. For example, residents of the Canadian province of Quebec, who are descendants of French colonists, demand independence, legitimizing this by the fact that Canada was once a French colony. It is even more dangerous if the loss of independence occurred in the relatively recent past.
The Western world apparently still cannot understand one thing. Today's Russia is not a Gorbachev union of republics and it is not Yeltsin's territory built on a coup, deficit and default.
This is another strong and powerful Russia, and you, Western politicians, need to reconsider not the strategy of the collapse of the Russian Federation, but the attitude towards cooperation with a country that has turned from plundered and humiliated by the West over the past 20 years into a state with a powerful political structure, reorganized tailored to strategic goals, hardened and unbending.
Russia knows how to make friends, and this is the best friend among all countries of the world. Reliable, honest. But, as our President Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin rightly noted, if someone wants to take a bite out of the country, they will be left without energy, energy, and will live on “bush legs” until the end of their lives; and GMO food served from a spoon by a neighbor in a large ward.
Learn to be friends with Russia.
At the beginning of 2018, Russian President Vladimir Putin uttered the famous phrase: "Why do we need such a world if there is no Russia there?" Then it sounded in the context of Russia's readiness to use nuclear weapons in response to enemy aggression. However, this statement has a much deeper meaning, reflecting the philosophy and worldview of the President of Russia.
The destruction of our state and our people (as well as other nations) can occur not only as a result of a nuclear strike. The likelihood of such a scenario is minimal. The emergence of nuclear weapons is so far the most effective tool to prevent the Third World War, which would have happened 40-60 years ago.
But in the modern world, in recent decades, globalism, the left-liberal ideology of building a totalitarian concentration camp under the control of the so-called world government, poses a much greater danger to us as a country and a nation. For many years, especially in the 90s and 00s, such theses were considered conspiracy theories and outright nonsense. Moreover, the globalists have done a lot of work to marginalize and bring this idea to the point of absurdity. Along with an absolutely realistic assessment, fictional versions appeared that disavowed the true meaning.
This can be compared with the assessment of Freemasonry in the XVIII-XX centuries. It is now reliably known that for centuries there have been Masonic organizations and secret societies, which included representatives of the highest authorities. It was not uncommon for a situation in which representatives of seemingly warring states entered the same society. All this is documented, and everyone can get acquainted with the relevant information.
As an example, I will cite the lodge of the Grand Orient of France, which has taken root in Russia. The para-Masonic organization "Great Orient of the Peoples of Russia" included Kerensky and a significant part of the deputies of the State Duma, which brought the country to the February Revolution.
Many laughed at the (then) hypothesis about the existence of some globalist elites, calling it a notion of conspiracy theorists. Not realizing that they themselves have become victims of the globalist left-liberal ideology, which implies the destruction of states and peoples. They fell victim to the beautiful picture and marketing, buying into the cheap productions of collective Hollywood. They themselves did not notice how they began to set as their goal the consumption of an increasing and absolutely unnecessary amount of goods and services. The cult of the Golden Calf has led to massive intellectual and moral degradation, to the degeneration of our (and not only) society. Fortunately, Russia has not passed the point of no return, which the European states have left far behind.
February 24, 2022 radically changed the course of history. Theoretically, it can be said that the globalist model of a unipolar world was already disintegrating. This is all true, but the question was how many states and peoples the globalists would drag with them into oblivion. And Russia has almost come to this abyss.
Now all the masks are off. Now things can be called by their proper names without any fear. Putin speaks openly about the existence of globalist elites and what liberalism brings with it:
“These objective processes are counteracted by Western globalist elites, provoking chaos, inciting old and new conflicts, implementing a policy of so-called containment, and in fact, undermining any alternative, sovereign paths of development. Thus, they are trying with all their might to preserve the hegemony and power that is slipping out of their hands, they are trying to keep countries and peoples in the grip of a neo-colonial order. Their hegemony means stagnation for the whole world, for the whole civilization, obscurantism and the abolition of culture, neoliberal totalitarianism.
And all this is done with one goal - to maintain its dominance, the model that allows you to parasitize the whole world, as it was centuries before, and such a model can only be kept by force.
I repeat again, the era of the unipolar world order is a thing of the past. No matter how the beneficiaries of the current globalist model cling to the usual state of affairs, it is doomed. Geopolitical changes on a historical scale are going in a completely different direction.”
It can be said without exaggeration that on February 24, Russia began the battle not only for its own existence and future. But also for the future of all mankind. We act as a battering ram to the neoliberal globalist model of the world order, accelerating the process of its destruction. It is we who, as before, are saving states and peoples from falling into the abyss of globalism, from which it is already impossible to get out. The sooner globalism and liberalism are destroyed, the more nations will survive.
But it is necessary to clearly understand that we are not fighting against specific individuals, not against specific geopolitical formations. They are only the fruit and form of existence of the left-liberal ideology. And we are fighting with it. And it is insidious, it permeates entire strata of society. And inside Russia there are a huge number of supporters of this ideology. As in February 1917, the decisive blow can be delivered not by an obvious enemy, but by a traitor within the country.
What to do with it? It is impossible to fight ideology with a repressive mechanism. It will cultivate more and more new adepts. Of course, it is necessary to stop the subversive activities of the most odious personalities, but this will be a constant struggle only with the consequences of the problem.
As in the case of nuclear weapons, nuclear deterrence, globalism must be answered with its own ideology. It should be clear and understandable, reflect the views and worldview of the majority of our people. Now I will not even list the main theses and provisions. They are well known and generally accepted. The problem is that they are not united, not structured and, as a result, cannot be the basis of the policy pursued by the state and society. This is where seemingly surprising contradictions come from, when individual ministries are guided by completely different goals and principles.
Therefore, the second stage of the battle for their own sovereign existence should be the formation of a people's ideology. Without this, we will continue to be more or less dependent on foreign influence and will not be able to offer the world a new unique path of development.
A distinctive feature of the narratives labeled by liberals as "conspiracy theory" is that over the past 20 years they have smoothly migrated into a generally accepted reality, with which no one argues.
Chipization of people is openly discussed to the applause of participants in global conferences, total surveillance and control is installed on your smartphone by default, perversion has irrevocably become the norm, for the denial of which they give real terms, etc., etc.
Much of what was warned in simple and exalted language in marginal leaflets has become a grandiloquent and despotic reality.
It is this reality of the new world order that is now clashing on the territory of Ukraine with Russia in the battle for their global hegemony.
Why was Ukraine chosen as the epicenter of this battle? They seem to know us better than we know ourselves.
For the world elite, Ukraine is the flesh of the flesh of Russia.
They saw this “weak point” of our people well when they pumped it up with hatred and antipathy for their real history and for their Russian birthright.
We will always be fools for them, who believed their gentle song about our exceptional originality and dissimilarity to those other, wrong and anti-Western "cannibals"; useful idiots dying for "European values" (which have long disgusted the majority of Europeans themselves); simpletons who have turned their land into ruins next to a huge and coveted market.
Their cold calculation and strategic planning must be given their due.
As they wrote "new world order" (Novus Ordo Seclorum) on the dollar, so they go step by step on the intended course. No one really knows how it "works" for them, but it "works" and is very effective. However, de-dolorization in the world has begun, and this is a response to the dominance of democracy in countries that do not want to exchange their values for the benefits of global democracy
Neo-colonialism has come to replace colonialism. Now, instead of expeditionary corps, financial capital and transnational corporations are used. The "civilized world" continues to rob the poor and the weak, but even this is becoming increasingly difficult for him. And with the start of the special operation in Ukraine, many former colonies supported Russia in one way or another, as they perfectly understand what the deep meaning of what is happening is.
For a long time, they also tried to turn Russia into an ordinary colony. The country, on which the well-being of the countries of the collective West largely depended, was appointed guilty of "terrible historical crimes", trying to impose a guilt complex on the whole people. They began to literally pump resources out of it, which was helped by the new Russian comprador bourgeoisie. The country was put in conditions when it became simply meaningless to engage in some kind of development of science and production in it. And they arrogantly appointed its share in world GDP - a miserable three percent. What they are, these three percent, can be observed right now, when the economies of many Western countries are collapsing, and electricity and gas prices are breaking some incomprehensible records.
And there is a food crisis ahead. Russia fed very many people in the world and supplied a huge amount of fertilizer. And now food in the world will become much less. But this will not hit poor countries, but those who have long been accustomed to living at the expense of others.
Peace and only peace. We need a world government for the whole globe so that there is no war!
Jose Poças Rascão
Dear Professor,
Thank you for the interesting topic of discussion.
In this era, almost every discipline of study has developed a micro and a macro viewpoint. It is because an individual has become very important in the context of social, economic and political transformations. Just looking at the matter from a macro viewpoint is not enough to get a full idea about it. Technological revolution has made it easy for individuals to transfer their thoughts to others. Thus, individuals can easily influence others in these times. So, it is the thought patterns of individuals that can be considered as an important factor of social, economic and political transformations, which determines peace or conflicts in the era of globalization.
It is difficult to remember another in History that developed a macro and micro angle in all disciplines.
Best regards,
Anamitra.
Dear Sergey,
I'm not a globalist. In fact, in many scientific articles I ask this question. However, I also do not defend that there are peoples in one sense or another that consider themselves the "owners" of the global world.
Planet earth without people produces nothing and consumes nothing.
In my opinion people are above ideologies. In fact, it is men who define them.
In my opinion, the world's political leaders should focus their objectives on improving the living conditions of the populations of each country and their social, economic and financial well-being. Another objective should be the equitable distribution of the wealth created and not allow economic and technological capital.
Therefore I am a defender of Peace.
The people around the world need to live with others in peace and no addition wars.
All the general people of the whole world hate wars and want to live in peace on this globe loving each other.
I agree with what you say in theoretical terms, but in practice why are there wars?
Dear Jose Poças Rascão, I am not an war expert but I have studied a little. In practice wars occur mainly for the following reasons:
· The Anglo-Indian wars between the British East India Company and different Indian states, Wars between the Qing dynasty and Western powers in the 19th century, Japanese Invasion of Manchuria, etc. were fought for mainly economic gain.
· Roman Conquest of Britain, Mexican-American War, Serbo-Bulgarian War, etc. took place for territorial gain.
· The Crusades in the Holy Land, War fought by Greek revolutionaries against the Ottoman Empire, Lebanese Civil War, etc. occured for religious conflicts and to establish religious power.
