I writing up my methods for my senior thesis. For my participant demographics section, do I include those participants I excluded from my analysis when talking about my participant demographics in my paper?
Generally speaking, the point of including demographics is to provide background information about the people you studied, so I would exclude the non-participants.
Yes! there is no need to provide information regarding the excluded participants. At best, you can simply list down the broad reasons for their exclusions (probably in 2-3 lines).
