In the past the agoras in greece and the chowks in india served as social spaces in cities for human interaction .Now the parks serve as spaces for social interaction
Cities are not just built spaces, they are also relationships between people. Like the difference between home and house, a city is not the same as a urbe. The city includes the daily life of people living in the urbe. So just as home needs (and promotes) some kind of family life, city presupposes (and promotes) some kind of social life, although it may not require gregarious life, such as the tribe in the village. Thus, we proposes the hypothesis that all the human interactions that occur in cities play some role in the process of human socialization.
