Hi depending on the scale of simulation you may have several options, previous answers consider ab-initio tools for fundamental properties.

What can be done with Atomistix Toolkit ? Is it a completely free opensource software ? What type of materials can be simulated ?
I have the latest machine from Dell with Ryzen 5 & AMD Radeon with Windows OS. I do not have Linux platform neither do I want to make my machine a complex one by loading Linux with Windows. In this case, can you suggest me some opensource software that could be run on Windows OS. It will be a great help for me.
