After my submission was rejected by a Springer journal, I recently received an email from someone called Avinash Dhangar, who claims to be a "Submission Editorial Advisor" at the Springer Nature Transfer Desk. He offer to help with some journal titles to resubmit to. Do you think this is reliable? How can I be sure that he really works for Springer? Thanks.
There is no doubt that the person is from Springer considering the fact that he/she knows about the rejected manuscript by Springer. But be sure that the journal that will be recommended for you will require you to pay for publication. I had similar experience with another publisher who recommended their open access journal for me to transfer my manuscript. After the transfer I was told the publication fee was USD$1500.

I was half-sure because, on the one hand, he already knew about the rejected manuscript, and on the other hand, the logo of the SpringerNature website is composed of two letters (SN) in blue and red. As for Springer website, the official logo is a horse. Gratefully,
