When a new syndrome is discovered in the deaf, can we mention for the first time the name of the new syndrome (from the researcher's point of view) in the research's title?
For example: Deaf people with the syndrome…….......…: a new research study

Hi Samer,
Why not? as long as you make clear in the title that it is a NEW syndrome and you give an elaborate description of the syndrome in the manuscript (ethiology, symptoms, potential causes, risk groups). And perhaps also mention that you suggest to give it the name XXX.
