My Mendeley desktop was working absolutely fine with around 4000 files. Last week I had installed word plugin, for easily inserting citations in my research articles. But after that, Mendeley Desktop is freezing/crashing so much. I am not even able to open it. Does anyone have solution for it?
It started crashing for me couple of days ago as well. I removed the mendeley word-plugin, synced my mendeley to the cloud through the mendeley app, and then "reset my mendeley desktop". After logging in again it is running smooth for now. I re-installed the word-citation.
I have never used Mendeley but word has a function where you can add your own citations and references into your document. You can also use refworks.com.
Nagendra Nath Das I already have an antivirus software and also have good ram in my system. There is an issue in either mendeley or word.
