Howdy,

I am trying to trouble shoot a way to keep agarose plugs fixated over a 30 min observation period. Currently I'm using plugs fixated on frosted microscope slides but larvae are able to remove the plugs while eating. I've tried letting agar solidify for long period, scuff frosted surface, and increasing concentration of agar. have ~50% success rate.

Any suggestions?
