I have a question about the mass of as prepared carbon nanofibers in some research paper it is mentioned that use "10mg" carbon fiber mat and in some papers they just mentioned that carbon mat " .I used the powdered form of carbon fibers for hydrothermal process to syntheses MOFs .

I'm not sure about the specific research paper you are referring to, but in general, the mass of as-prepared carbon nanofibers can vary depending on the synthesis method used. In one study, e.g., the specific surface area of as-prepared nanomaterials was far higher than that of carbon nanofibers prepared according to traditional methods (MOFs on the surface carbon......).
Regarding your question about using powdered form of carbon fibers for hydrothermal process to synthesize MOFs, I'm not sure if I understand your question correctly. Are you asking if using powdered form of carbon fibers will affect the mass of as-prepared carbon nanofibers?

I have prepared carbon nanofibers by using electrospinning technique. now I want to synthesize MOFs on the surface of these fibers by hydrothermal method. should I use either the powder form of these fibers or the mat? In some research papers, they mention e.g. (10mg) and CNF mat.
