I'm not sure I understand exactly what you are asking. Tell me if this is correct: you prepare a Fe-based MOF. After synthesizing it, you are putting it in a solution with various other metal ions, and you find that if you decrease the metal ion concentration, at some point you observe an increase in fluorescence rather than a decrease as you would expect. Is this correct?
