A bachelor student is not expected to do any innovative, break through projects because of the time limit and inadequate knowledge base. If you can do a small amount of work where you can demonstrate your understanding of the basic concepts that should be good enough. And this is not the way to ask for help. You wanna steal others' ideas by asking them for their innovative ideas??? Plagiarism is the greatest crime in scientific community. Its really sad that local colleges in India entertain such activities.
You can work on Machine design, Heat Transfer, Bio-fuels, IC engine performance improvement, controls etc etc.
We can suggest some general areas to choose a topic from, but its ultimately your supervisor who has to guide you. So I suggest you to discuss with your supervisor and other team members, if any are there, and then decide in which area and what kind of work you want to do. Then come and ask for help.
