Hi all, I have a data of Interstitial lung disease registry. We followed the patients for 5 years. They were total 807 patients. We calculated an index mGAP for all patients but we were able to calculate another index GAP for only 147/807 patients.

GAP is robust index having Gender, Age, and 2 Physiological parameters (FEV and DLCO) while mGAP (modified GAP) is having Gender, Age, and only 1 Physiological parameter (FEV) not DLCO.

In GAP, there are 8 scores (1 to 8) which are converted in 3 stages (stage 1, 2 and 3) while in mGAP there are 5 scores (1 to 5) converted into 2 stages (stage 1 and 2).

GAP and mGAP both are considered as predictors of survival among these patients. To compare these two indices what statistical test could be used? The aim of this exercise is determine whether mGAP could be used as a alternative of GAP.
