Hi Steingrimur. We have a rat model of obesity and the animals are actually pre-diabetic (we did not induce diabetis with streptozotocin). At this stage we are just collecting tissue and have not started the analysis. I am still trying to establish which method is best (reliable and accurate). We are thinking of measuring RAGEs via both Immunohistochemistry and Western Blots. Any suggestions?
