I am a confused about how to calculate mean with values below LOQ, below LOQ and zero values. I came accross an approach to convert below LOQ values to half LOQ. Below LOD values will also be converted to half LOQ. What about zeros in this case? Does it make sense to convert zeros to half LOQ? Or is there any better approach for the zero values? Basically, my question is what to do with the zero values? Thank you.
