Mathematical Biology is a challenging subject which is much necessary for a biologist, ecologist, geneticist, environmentalist etc. On the other hand, at the level of research (M. Phil, Ph. D. & Postdoc), Statistics is in general necessary to all these researchers. Therefore, it is must to learn at the graduate or post graduate level in Indian Universities. In so many Universities or Colleges , it is not included in their syllabus. MHRD should an action as soon as possible. Because, it is much important for growing and developing research in India. I wish to request that kindly discuss on this matter.
