As we all know that more and more marine habitats are degenerating because of anthropogenic activities in the ocean and other reseaons, for example, fishing, climate changes. So we need to do something to change the situation.
Can you guys give me some restoration mehods or suggestions, especially for the coastal area.

However, it is rather risky method and it contradicts all our accepted rules concerning alien species proliferation.
In coastal habitats, plants that occupy the water-land transition often shelter juvenile marine species from predators and provide valuable habitat structure, so planting native mangrove trees or emergent vegetation can increase local biodiversity and perhaps accelerate succession to move a disturbed system back to a more stable, mature alternative.
Limiting fishing or other harvesting of marine species--both of which frequently disturb habitat and reduce local biodiversity--could also provide benefits consistent with whatever restoration goals you might be pursuing.
First you have to define the anthropogenic sources and then try to stop or reduce it as much as possible and them self restoration will happen.

Ecological restoration can be defined as "action on marine habitat, fauna or flora allowing to improve the state or ecological functioning, in a coastal area where water quality is good and where pressures causing degradation have disappeared or are under control. "
A degraded marine habitat whose pressures have disappeared or have been mastered can therefore be the object of a restoration operation
Four elements are needed to implement an ecological restoration operation:
- The technical solution to encountered problem must exist and be
operational,
- The will to restore and use this solution must be effective,
- The funding that will allow to use this solution must be available,
- Finally, you must be allowed to do it.
