Can i get the one that can simulate 4G and 5G so that comparisons can be made between the two technologies over various propagation models. Any assistance highly appreciated
Hello Filbert, I think you can do that with NetSim v9.1, which has support for LTE and LTE-Adv. In NetSim can run different propagation models - line of sight, fading, shadowing, etc and also have mobility. There are also some videos on this at http://tetcos.com/videos.html that could help you understand the LTE library better.

In generally, for physical and data link layers (( MATLAB))... for higher layers and Random access channel(( NS3)).
