As its name has bear meaning Nano teaching it can be thought that there could be nano teaching concept in near future to nurture next generation teacher more specifically.
I am just thinking like nano technology in the field of Engineering ......in the field of teaching there could be nano teaching more micro level approach then micro teaching. In teacher training field we use micro teaching practice for skill development among would be teachers. In micro teaching would be teachers practice some skills in scale down the size, time and content for approx 5-7 or 7-10 minutes and they focus on only components of one teaching skill. So my curiosity is that will there a possibility nano teaching concept for developing skills among teachers for more specific skill development.
I think we need to sort out initially TNA and outcomes of this course and then Nano approach can be brought in if the participants are ready to accept the change. Meaning they have gone through mindset and managing change framework training. I hope it helps1

Why should the teaching technology remain uninfluenced by 'Nano' virus?
I think when we teach issues which are complicated as innocent criminal (shareef badmash) - called Oxymorons nano teaching may have been in place already.
I think "nano teaching" can be a good idea specially for teachers who are teaching science subjects and subject full of complex concepts. As the micro teaching is a part of teaching, in the same manner for teaching complex topics of science we need some earlier knowledge of fact and theories. So along with micro teaching we can also divide a topic into several small session to understand the previous fact and theories so that when micro teaching and actual teaching is held, Learners are already aware of facts that help them to understand the concept more easily on a concrete level.
