Much talked talk 'Gap' between Industry expectations and Student Knowledge availability from schools / colleges...
Industry Expects, students available from say professional schools like Engineering Colleges should be available for Job specific to domain...
Students expect, they should opt for more 'highly paying jobs' rather than sticking it to the domain of engineering what they have studied...
For example: A leading group of company in software, who hire in 1000s every year of Engineering graduates in India, train them in first 3 months of training on 'software testing /coding and places them in projects... When I had an interaction from one of the Profs from University of Toledo from US, told me the % of Engineering graduates working / preferring to work in 'wall street' instead of domain of engineering...
Is our education system in its 'process' of converting "Input (students)" to "Output (Industry)" is far behind / failed in meeting the expectations of both Input & Output
