What me fascinates, is that urban agriculture has always been in urban areas. But it has lost connecting in the transformation of modern cities, especially after WW2. Curtrently many urban areas are rediscovering the potential of urban agriculture, not only for achieving food self-sufficiency but also in adding value to the water-energy-waste nexus as well as adaptation to climate change.

Agriculture in comparison is a. a minor task in its capacity, and can be solved anywhere, everywhere, by known means. Culture is not that simple.
