Located near the Hellespontus, it still produces the largest and sweetest cherries on earth: Lapseki as Lampsacus is called to date. The town welcomed Anaxagoras as its honorary citizen when the Athenians had ostracized (evicted) him under threat of death for his having become too popular with them. His tomb stone in Lampsacus reads: “Here lies Anaxagoras who thought the most about the limits to knowledge.”

Since 1994, Lampsacus is humankind’s “hometownon the Internet” with its survival guarantee for everyone and free elections. I authored or co-authored several books on it, one of them written jointly with Willi Kriese got translated into English and earned him an honorary doctorate (https://books.google.de/books?id=rIXYXqF7LoUC&pg=PA5&lpg=PA5&dq=%22encouraging+lampsacus%22+george+Lasker&source=bl&ots=4wMzlPGbHR&sig=Y9LqivHyk-SIrNw2Arowd48-dZE&hl=en&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwjuh6fF5LHYAhUTkRQKHUxtCR0Q6AEIJzAA#v=onepage&q=%22encouraging%20lampsacus%22%20george%20Lasker&f=false).

Now, after 24 years’ time, I suddenly realize today that I could utilize (misuse?) Lampsacus to encourage the inhabitants of the Blue Planet to support my 9 ¾ years old appeal to CERN in Geneva: to, please, renew its official planetary safety report LSAG from early 2008 on the ongoing universe-record resident energy densities created on earth at the LHC experiment almost underneath the town of Geneva, if they can.

Given my lack of political clout for 24 years, I humbly ask “Who if any” feels apt to install the voting platform “choose” to get the Hometown going given the fact that most everyone on earth is able to participate on the web to date.

Do we need Bill Gates or a rich country as a sponsor, or are grassroots fired by the love for your youngest child all that it takes to launch “choose”? My good friend Edward Fredkin, Richard Feynman’s friend, offered an ingenious contribution to keeping Lampsacus operational once established.

Forgive me for my childish reciprocal trust in you. The first letter I ever wrote as a child I signed with “your dear Otto.” I am still that stupid as you can see.
