I am looking for research topic related to Electric Vehicle , something related to optimisation.
Like application of metaheuristics to it. I am much confused which one to choose for research like Battery management systems or inverter topologies or Control mechanism. Kindly suggest what other variations can be , as i am relatively new to it.
As the Electric vehicles are stochastic in nature due to their dependence on arrival time, battery SOC, charging areas; it is good to use stochastic/robust/probabilistic based optimization method to solve different electrical issues such as minimization of charging cost, min. of voltage deviation and unbalance, min. of line losses, min. of battery degradation costs, etc.

Converters like Multi input single out put DC/DC converters to improve the performance of EV with the help of non conventional energy sources .
Very interesting question, and hard to answer, of course. In any case, what about the efficient route planning of electric vehicles? Taking into account batteries and chargin points, for example.
