Every year there are almost 500 meteorites arrive at the the Earth. Under LIGO’s condition, the variation of the gravitational waves made by these meteorites should be much larger than that by the merging of double black holes which is with a very large distance from the Earth. Therefore, the energy density of the variation of the gravitational waves by the black holes is much less than that of the meteorites.
Under the condition that the mass of the black holes is almost 10^(33-35)g, the distance from the Earth is 10^10 light years; while the mass of the meteorites is 1-2000g, the distance is almost 10^(-7) light years, the mass density of the black hole is less than 10^(-15) of that of the meteorites. Therefore, it is easy to know that, according to the LIGO, on the Earth, the signal of the gravitational waves made by the meteorites is much stronger than that by the merging black holes.
But, the signal about the gravitational waves by the meteorites has never been detected by LIGO. So, it is clear, LIGO has not detected any signal about gravitational waves.
